The lovely boys of Spoiled Milk have made us a beautiful poster, so feel free to use it on your own blog when writing about Copenhagen Twestival:
Some of the companies that sponsor us, as well as a couple of other blogs have written a bit about us, so go read their awesome blogs: Signal Digital, Creuna, Advance, Overskrift’s underskrift.
Furthermore, we have a few confirmations:
- Yes, there will be cake - and lots of it! Lagkagehuset (The Layer Cake House, litteraly) will make us a cake that is big enough for 75 people to all have a piece. It is sponsored by ZYB.com, the Danish mobile backup service, and we are delighted that they will help us out.
- Joachim Bondo, the author of the iPhone chess application Deep Green (iTunes link) will come and tell us a bit about the original application for the Apple Newton, and what needed to be done to make it work on the iPhone. Read some more about the app and Joachim in this interview on Daring Fireball, and visit his company’s blog at cocoastuff.com.
- Also, Zendesk will come and tell us a bit about their work with Twitter and we have a Dane who worked with charity:water in New York that will elaborate a bit on why it is so important to raise some money for the organization.
As you might understand, we are coming closer and closer to the final program, and we had hoped to announce something else tonight, but that will wait until tomorrow or Friday, but sit tight and check this blog again soon. Also, follow us on Twitter where we write continuously about the stuff that’s going on in the background: http://twitter.com/cphtwestival
Finally, don’t forget to register for the event at amiando.com!

Ohh - it looks soo good. I’m happy that I’ve convinced my wife that I’ve got to go.
Haha - I like that you have to convince your wife that it’s okay to go
We look forward to seeing you next Thursday!
You forgot to mention that http://www.nanoblogging.dk will be the official backchannel
[...] der er Twestival på Torsdag den 12. Februar 2009 - der kommer fantastiske mennesker, inkl. mig =) [...]
Please, please, make it a allergy friendly cake, no nuts or nut derivatives (i.e. marcipan). Or at least offer an allergy friendly alternative.
@Nina: We’ll see what we can do, but I can’t promise anything since we have already ordered etc.
