Updates on sponsors and a short video

Hello all.
Once again, we have exciting news for you all: Sponsorships are rolling in and we’ll take a brief moment to thank all of those who are making this event happen:
The venue is sponsored by 23 - the visual sharing company. It’s because of their involvement in this event that we have a roof over our head on Thursday. Huge thanks goes out to the whole team! Remember to check out their latest project: 23Video.
Next up on the list of essentials is something to drink. Verk has been so kind as to sponsor our beers so we can give as much money as possible to the Child Cancer Foundation. That way you can get wasted for a good cause - what’s not to like?
No Twestival without cake! In February, we had a legendary cake and this time is no different: zyb has once again teamed up with Copenhagen Twestival to deliver a cake as good as last time. This is worth the VIP-ticket in itself!
Other notable sponsors include DONA that have agreed to cover some of the practical things needed for the venue to make it look like more than an empty concrete box. Also, we are currently trying to cover the invoice for sound- and technical equipment on the night - so far Webcom (with the upcoming Twitter book “Twitterbogen“) and Polar Rose have both taken a share of the load, but we need more, so if you want to sponsor something, this is where help is most needed.
Moreover, we will have a lottery again, and so far we have received gifts from Karin Høegh in the form of Pokens and SF Film that sent us a box of movies and tickets for some of the movies currently running in cinemas across the country. We are looking into the possibility of getting many more prizes for you all, so stay tuned.
Last, but definitely not least, we have our very first celebrity endorsement of Copenhagen Twestival! Andrew Keen was kind enough to sit down for a brief talk on Skype about why he loves Twestivals so much and why everyone should come out for their local Twestival this upcoming week. Have a look and have a great Sunday!
