Twestival Home

We have finally finished calculating and resting after an absolutely amazing night on Thursday. Just like last time, we were completely blown away by how it all turned out, despite problems planning the night and what else had gone wrong in the week leading up to the event.

Speakers

Seeing that we couldn’t get the real one, we managed to snap Fake Morten Lund aka. Nikolaj Nyholm. We had a great time listening to the development of Polar Rose, but we particularly loved the @ML Tweet Transformer (where credit also goes out to @mortenjust, @claus and @dalager). Thanks for stepping in at the last possible moment.

The biggest surprise of the evening, however, was the mini-concert by The Storm. In the days leading up Twestival, people that weren’t exactly fans said some not so nice things about the music, but we think in the end Pernille and Johan turned everybody into believers in The Storm.

23 days was all it took to arrange this edition of Copenhagen Twestival

158 people bought tickets (and about 150 showed up)

13000 kr. was the original price for venue and soundsystem (and we ended up paying 1500 kr. for the location because of the sudden change - the heat wasn’t that bad now, was it?)

22010 kr. in total in sponsorships

11237 kr. was the total revenue in the bar

8069.5 kr. profit from the bar

30,079.5 kr. profit in total that will go directly to the Child Cancer Foundation.

Final remarks
All the is left to say is “thank you”. Thank you for coming, thank you for drinking beers and buying lottery tickets and thank you for supporting the cause. We’ll keep you updated in the coming months…
